Davao Water Tariff (DCWD) — second-tranche residential schedule, with the unpriced July 2024 tranche stated

The Davao City Water District (DCWD) residential tariff as of the February 2024 second tranche: the minimum charge covering the first 10 cubic metres and the per-cubic-metre rate for each consumption tier above it. These are the most recent peso figures any source has published. A third LWUA-approved tranche of roughly 9.99 percent took effect on July 2024 billing and its implemented peso amounts have never been published, so this schedule is a floor, not a current price. That gap is part of the dataset.

Read this before citing a figure

UNVERIFIED AND UN-RECHECKABLE — read before citing. (1) These February 2024 figures are the most recent DCWD peso amounts any source publishes, and they are now over two years old. (2) A third LWUA-approved tranche of about 9.99 percent took effect on July 2024 billing — Manila Bulletin, MindaNews and Edge Davao all confirm the timing — but no source reproduces the implemented peso figures, so what a Davao household pays today is higher than every number in this file by an unpublished amount. (3) The primary can no longer be read: davao-water.gov.ph returns HTTP 403 behind a Cloudflare interstitial to both programmatic fetch and desktop-user-agent curl, checked 2026-07-12, so these figures are not merely un-superseded, they are un-recheckable at source. (4) The 2021 LWUA petition projected a third-tranche minimum of ₱235.60. That is a FORECAST, not an observation, and it is deliberately NOT seeded here — do not fill the gap with it. (5) A further 30 percent increase (15 percent plus 15 percent across 2026–2027) is proposed per SunStar 2026-01-09 but is not LWUA-approved or implemented, and is likewise not seeded. Treat every figure in this dataset as a floor, not a current price.

Provenance & limitations

Source. DCWD via GMA News — second tranche, effective Feb 2024 . Method. Transcribed from the LWUA-approved DCWD tranche schedule as reported by named primary sources, dated to the effective date. One row per tranche whose peso figures a source actually publishes. A tranche that took effect without published figures produces no row rather than a derived one.

Known limitations — published as a feature, not a footnote:

  • A ~9.99 percent tranche took effect on July 2024 billing and its peso figures are unpublished, so this schedule understates the current bill by an unknown amount.
  • DCWD's own site (davao-water.gov.ph) returns HTTP 403 to both fetch and curl, so these figures cannot currently be re-checked against the primary at all.
  • One row on record. There is no series here and no trend is renderable — a second row appears when a tranche is published with figures, not when one takes effect.
  • The residential lifeline rate is a flat ₱100 for consumption under 5 cu.m./month. It is a property of the schedule rather than of any single tranche, so it is stated here rather than repeated as a column.
  • Residential tariff; commercial and bulk rates differ. DCWD serves Davao City; other Davao Region utilities are not covered.
  • The 2021 LWUA petition's ₱235.60 third-tranche projection and the proposed 2026–2027 30 percent increase are forecasts, not observations, and neither is seeded.

Full source hierarchy, the per-figure dating rule, and the no-fabrication discipline that governs the longitudinal series: /methodology.
