Cebu / Region VII PUV Fares (LTFRB) — jeepney, modern PUV & taxi

The public utility vehicle fares in force in Cebu / Region VII: the traditional-jeepney and modern-PUV minimum fares and the metered-taxi flagdown and per-kilometre rates, from LTFRB authorizations. The 2023 matrix is still current — a March 2026 increase was approved then suspended before it took effect.

CURRENT DESPITE ITS 2023 DATE. The ₱13 traditional-jeepney and ₱15 modern-jeepney minimum fares have been in force since 2023-10-08 and remain current as of 2026-09-04: a March 2026 increase to ₱14 / ₱17 was approved by LTFRB then suspended by the President before its 2026-03-19 implementation and never took effect. Pages listing ₱14 / ₱17 as current are wrong. The taxi flagdown (₱50) and per-km (₱13.50) rates are named-primary and medium confidence; the exact Memorandum Circular numbers were not pinned. The Beep card is a stored-value payment card, not a fare.

Provenance & limitations

Source. LTFRB provisional fare authorization (approved 2023-10-04), via Philstar . Method. Transcribed from LTFRB fare authorizations as reported by named primary outlets, dated to the effective month. One row per fare matrix. A superseded-but-suspended proposal is not seeded as a fare.

Known limitations — published as a feature, not a footnote:

  • The ₱13 / ₱15 jeepney minimums are high confidence; the taxi flagdown, taxi per-km and jeepney succeeding-km rate are named-primary, medium confidence.
  • The exact LTFRB Memorandum Circular numbers and Cebu's taxi-flagdown effective date were not pinned.
  • One fare matrix on record; the next row is a new LTFRB authorization that actually takes effect, not a suspended one.
